Fingerprint Prismatic Versions

The checks are printed with graduated colors. These versions are the most difficult to photocopy, and include our patented void copier security feature.

   Copier "Void" Feature

Checks contain multiple pantograph check designs on the check, signature area and amount line that include an intricate security design feature which produces a series of VOIDs if the checks are processed through a single or a full color copier. The multiple pantographs produce the VOIDs through various settings on the copier.


Signature Area & Amount Line

The signature area and amount line are printed with different pantograph backgrounds from the check. This patented use of multiple pantograph designs produces VOIDs through various density settings on the copier. The signature area also has a warning clause indicating that the signature has a colored background.

  Micro Printing

The line borders on the check and the endorsement are micro printed with SAFE CHECK, and can only be seen when magnified. This security feature is also used on United States Currency.


  ABA Check Endorsement Clause

A security seal & fingerprint are printed in a heat sensitive ink in the endorsement clause on the back of the check. A warning clause is also included that notifies the cashing party that the face of the check is colored and that breathing or rubbing the fingerprint and/or seal will allow the heat sensitive ink to disappear. It also notifies the cashing party how the watermark appears.

Watermark Certification Seal

An EPA approved watermark certification seal & fingerprint that cannot be photocopied are on the back of every check with appropriate warning clauses printed on the front and back of the check. The watermark(s) also certifies that the paper meets all specifications for laser check printing.

Fluorescent Fibers

Artificial yellow fluorescent fibers on the back will intensify under black light.

Fingerprint II Security

U.S. Patented Fingerprint II Security provides the most innovative and secure features
for checks and negotiable documents that are available today.

Front & Back Heat Sensitive Ink - Separate Color

The pink thermochromatic ink will disappear at temperatures above 85 F. This will allow the payer to verify that the check is not a fraudulent document. Because the ink is heat sensitive, it is virtually impossible to make copies or scan the document without disappearing.

Endorsement

The KnightTM, Fingerprint SecurityTM wording & the Fingerprint are printed in pink thermochromatic ink in the endorsement area on the back of the check.

Warning Clause

The U.S. Patent numbers are printed on the face of the check in pink thermochromatic ink in the left margin.

ABSENCE OF U.S. PATENT NUMBERS IN THE LEFT MARGIN INDICATES THAT THIS CHECK IS FRAUDULENT. THIS AREA IS PRINTED WITH A PINK HEAT SENSITIVE INK THAT WILL DISAPPEAR WHEN BLOWING OR RUBBING

Watermark Features

The KnightTM & Fingerprint watermarks are viewable when holding at an angle and also appear when viewed under a blacklight.

Diamond Security Paper

Diamond Security is a premium paper that contains additional security features that are part of the paper manufacturing process. This premium paper may be combined with Fingerprint Security to provide a new patented dual watermark security along with additional paper security.

Dual Watermarks
U.S. PATENT

The back of this check has an artificial Fingerprint watermark along with a true (Fourdriner) Diamond Pattern watermark.The fingerprint watermarks may be seen by holding the check at an angle and the true (Fourdriner) watermarks may be seen by holding the document to the light.

Visible Fibers

The paper contains Blue & Green visible fibers that may be seen on the front & back.

 

Chemical Alteration Indicators

A color reaction is triggered by the use of chemicals Bleach, Oxidizers, Solvents, Acid or Alkali Materials.

Toner Lock

Paper contains a coating that causes the MICR Toner to fuse into the paper making removal very difficult.
